It has a railway and highway, not inconvenience to traffic. But it is a mountain village like a solitary island by topographic map. Niniu (\u30cb\u30cb\u30a6) area is more like a solitary island, is in this village. Akaiwa tunnel (\u8d64\u5ca9\u30c8\u30f3\u30cd\u30eb) opened in 2007, from Chuo (\u4e2d\u592e) the central of village to here, and occurred old road simultaneously.\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/20110908081638DSC_1277l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/20110908081638DSC_1277s.JPG\" alt=\"20110908081638DSC_1277.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/2011090802l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/2011090802s.png\" alt=\"2011090802.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nI started Niniu by bike, and running on 1 lane gravel road. This road looks old road, but I don&#8217;t entered the old road yet. Far from it, it is active road and main prefectural road. Number is 136, name is Yubari-Shintoku line (\u5915\u5f35\u65b0\u5f97\u7dda, y\u016bbari shintoku sen). Famus bad prefectural road (\u7370\u9053, d\u014dd\u014d), isn&#8217;t it? Active road curve like a crank, I&#8217;ll go straight here to enter old road.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/20110908083352DSC_1291l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2011\/09\/08\/20110908083352DSC_1291s.JPG\" alt=\"20110908083352DSC_1291.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nAkaiwa bridge (\u8d64\u5ca9\u6a4b, akaiwa bashi) welcomes me, while 10 seconds after entered. It&#8217;s the largest relic of the old road. 60.8 m long, single spaned half-through arch bridge. I haven&#8217;t heard too much, is it curved chord deck truss? New and old roads are piled up like Tokyo expressway. The culvert made by logs? This road is 1 line, but it stringed village road, road of forest owner&#8217;s cooperative and road of forest office. Akaiwa bridge ordered by Asahikawa regional forest office because that is a road of forest office. Location that wooden culvert is road of forest owner&#8217;s cooperative. Designated to prefectural road was a long time later.
