The shortest length of seaway Cape Shiokubi &#8211; Cape Oma was was chosen naturally because seaway is affected by weather, land route (railway) for each cape had an atmosphere of military very much. Hokkaido side <A href=\"\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/?p=2106\" target=\"_self\">Toi line<\/A> (\u6238\u4e95\u7dda, toi sen) <SPAN class=\"invisible\">\uff08Hakodate sta. &#8211; Toi sta.\uff09<\/SPAN>, Aomori side Oma line (\u5927\u9593\u7dda, \u014dma sen) <SPAN class=\"invisible\">\uff08Ohata sta. &#8211; Okoppe sta.\uff09<\/SPAN>, each lines aimed at transport resources to Tsugaru fortress, these were started to build in <TIME>1936<\/TIME> while escalating military tension.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/2013040402l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/2013040402s.png\" alt=\"2013040402.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nThen Oma line was started to build. At same time, Ohata line started to build too, and this opened to Ohata station (\u5927\u7551\u99c5, \u014dhata eki) in <TIME>1939<\/TIME>. Oma line beyond Ohata station keep building, but this section is longer and steeper than Ohata line. As you know pacific war break out in <TIME>1941<\/TIME>, the line was building during the war. At finally, lacking the resources, manpower, it was ordered stopped to build. Not yet construction section is 13.620km. Construction stops at nearby nita-gawa (\u30cb\u30bf\u5ddd).<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404085358DSC_0327l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404085358DSC_0327s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404085358DSC_0327.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nI came to Oma because I want to ride ferry that retire <TIME datetime=\"2013-04\">this mounth<\/TIME>. Fare of car is expensive, so I came by bike. But interesting things I think is almost nothing in the field of activities of bike. So I will go Oma line necessarily. \r\nStarted work section of Oma line has 2 bridges that 100m over long. I will satisfy if watch these. Therewith I came to Shimofuro (\u4e0b\u98a8\u5442) Kazamaura village (\u98a8\u9593\u6d66\u6751, kazamaura mura) to watch the Kazamaura bridge (\u98a8\u9593\u6d66\u9678\u6a4b, kazamaura rikky\u014d), alias Shimofuro bridge (\u4e0b\u98a8\u5442\u6a4b, shimofuro bashi).<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404085740DSC_0331l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404085740DSC_0331s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404085740DSC_0331.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nKazamaura bridge is not so high, and houses are built in front of this. Thereby sense of existence is nothing as much as I think. Cause of too clean than <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2010\/03\/24\/20100324094904P3245286l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\">Shiokubi bridge (\u6c50\u9996\u9678\u6a4b, shiokubi rikky\u014d)<\/A> that built same time is it repaired for save and application.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404091802DSC_0360l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404091802DSC_0360s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404091802DSC_0360.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\n13 spans are all concrete. Length is 109.000m. Start construction work in <TIME datetime=\"1937-04\">April 1937<\/TIME>, and this section was completed in <TIME datetime=\"1941-12\">December 1941<\/TIME>. However, trains have not used never, and it had left decades. Construction of  remake to promenade started from <TIME datetime=\"2004-07\">July 2004<\/TIME>, it opened on <TIME datetime=\"2005-04-19\">April 19 2005<\/TIME>. The bridge open 63 years after from construction work started. Clap for survive!<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404093336DSC_0380l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404093336DSC_0380s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404093336DSC_0380.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nBuilding on the bridge is a footbath like station. Actually station was planned in Shimofuro, but actual position is more east.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404093124DSC_0377l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404093124DSC_0377s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404093124DSC_0377.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nDeteriorated concrete wear makeup, skin is smooth like new. Traces of rain and streak that occur in installation are sealed up evenly.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404100610DSC_0397l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404100610DSC_0397s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404100610DSC_0397.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nI left Shimofuto, I will go to another large arch bridge.\r\nAlong the way, cave of shinyo (kamikaze boat in WW2) remaining in Cape Kabuto. It unfinished too, and reached the end of the war in the state of no deployment.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404105724DSC_0431l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404105724DSC_0431s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404105724DSC_0431.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nThe another large bridge on Oma line. I arrived at Nimai bridge (\u4e8c\u679a\u6a4b, nimai bashi). I feel bike is useful when such now, because this bridge can be seen only few second by car.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404135600DSC_0470l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2013\/04\/04\/20130404135600DSC_0470s.JPG\" alt=\"20130404135600DSC_0470.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nLength is 101.500m, it is a little short than Kazamaura bridge. 7 span archs are made of concrete too. Construction work started in <TIME datetime=\"1937-04\">April 1937<\/TIME>, and this section was completed in <TIME datetime=\"1941-12\">December 1941<\/TIME>.
