Both these 2 are small scale so I thought these are not enough to write this blog, but now I&#8217;m out of stories so I decided to introduce those. The visit date was September 14 2015, it was a tour of midstream of Fukuromas(\u888b\u6f97, site of old fishing ports).\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<H3>Notsuto Tunnel<\/H3>\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914102604DSC_0659-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914102604DSC_0659-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914102604DSC_0659-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123001l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123001s.png\" alt=\"2016123001.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nAt first, I came Notsuto Tunnel (\u80fd\u6d25\u767b\u30c8\u30f3\u30cd\u30eb, notsuto tonneru) east end of Suttsu Town, Cape Shiribetsu (\u5c3b\u5225\u5cac, shiribetsu misaki) located border with Rankoshi Town (\u862d\u8d8a\u753a, rankoshi ch\u014d). It is in overlapping section of route No.229 and 276 &#8211; called Raiden Route (\u96f7\u96fb\u56fd\u9053, raiden kokud\u014d), current Notsuto Tunnel was completed in 1994. Old one was completed in 1968 at same place. 2 generations ago was been located near tip of cape.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914102344DSC_0656-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914102344DSC_0656-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914102344DSC_0656-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123002l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123002s.png\" alt=\"2016123002.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nIt&#8217;s intersection setting on back a bit. The road is paved so just like that I can see the target.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914101300DSC_0651-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914101300DSC_0651-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914101300DSC_0651-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123004l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123004s.png\" alt=\"2016123004.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nI looked forward to this tunnel because it was drawn in topographic map in the Taisho Period. I see what I can researched about this, it was completed in 1910. It is reputation of being a brilliant born in the Meiji Period.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914104018DSC_0678-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914104018DSC_0678-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914104018DSC_0678-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123005l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123005s.png\" alt=\"2016123005.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nThis is another side. 49m long. Length of old road are almost same both Rankoshi side and Suttsu side, but I felt Suttsu side is about 3 times longer. Bush influence is horrible.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<H3>Tanemae Tunnel<\/H3>\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162342DSC_0119-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162342DSC_0119-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914162342DSC_0119-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123007l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123007s.png\" alt=\"2016123007.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nAfter Fukuroma tour, I came other tunnel. It&#8217;s Tanemae Tunnel (\u7a2e\u524d\u30c8\u30f3\u30cd\u30eb, tanemae tonneru). Current one was completed in 1987. The tunnel perforates not a cape but bulged out rock.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162450DSC_0121-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162450DSC_0121-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914162450DSC_0121-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123008l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123008s.png\" alt=\"2016123008.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nA little behind here is the entrance.<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162550DSC_0124-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162550DSC_0124-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914162550DSC_0124-2.JPG\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nPavement is left on the road but bush is growing thickly, how long can it keep this state?<\/P>\r\n<HR class=\"pause\">\r\n<P><A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162748DSC_0128-2l.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2015\/09\/14\/20150914162748DSC_0128-2s.JPG\" alt=\"20150914162748DSC_0128-2.JPG\" \/><\/A> <A href=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123009l.png\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"colorbox\"><IMG src=\"https:\/\/morigen.net\/blog\/image\/2016\/12\/30\/2016123009s.png\" alt=\"2016123009.png\" \/><\/A><BR>\r\nThis is old Tanemae Tunnel. The nameplate, &#8220;<CITE>\u5317\u6d77\u9053\u306e\u9053\u8def\u30c8\u30f3\u30cd\u30eb<\/CITE>&#8220;, and &#8220;<CITE>\u6a4b\u6881\u73fe\u6cc1\u8abf\u66f8<\/CITE>&#8221; are all said completed in 1963. Design of entrance is same with design of this period R229. But actually, this tunnel is in aerial <A href=\"http:\/\/mapps.gsi.go.jp\/contentsImageDisplay.do?specificationId=227914&#038;isDetail=true\" target=\"_blank\">a photograph<\/A> taken in 1947.  It&#8217;s a mystery. If I researched it may became clear, but today I came to see Fukuroma so I didn&#8217;t it. If it became clear, I&#8217;ll postscript the truth here.<SPAN class=\"ps\">2017-01-01Postscript The informations came from comment. Before 1963, it called Arito Tunnel. Unfortunately they are open-cut already. Northern one is in <A href=\"http:\/\/mapps.gsi.go.jp\/contentsImageDisplay.do?specificationId=206816&#038;isDetail=true\" target=\"_blank\">a aerial photograph<\/A> taken in 1948, isn&#8217;t in <A href=\"http:\/\/mapps.gsi.go.jp\/contentsImageDisplay.do?specificationId=583684&#038;isDetail=true\" target=\"_blank\">a aerial photograph<\/A> taken in 1965. Southern one Tateiwa Tunnel (\u5efa\u5ca9\u30c8\u30f3\u30cd\u30eb, tateiwa tonneru) opened-cut in the past few years. Incidentally it is still drew on GSI map as I write this. <SPAN class=\"ps\">2017-01-01Postscript The informations came from comment. Tateiwa Tunnel was once called Tateiwa No.1 Tunnel.
